New Schneider Electric Easy TeSys series manual motor protectors, contactors, thermal overload relays, and accessories have been added to AutomationDirect's lineup of motor control products. Schneider Electric Easy TeSys series IEC manual motor protectors are compact, easy to use, and cover the functions of disconnect, controller, thermal overload relay, and branch circuit protection in a single device. They are pushbutton operated and available in ratings up to 32A. Easy TeSys series IEC magnetic contactors offer a compact design for easy installation, a 45mm frame width, and have a long life expectancy of up to one million electrical operations. They have a built-in N.O. auxiliary contact and are available in a variety of coil voltages, with ratings from 3 to 20 hp (38A) at 480 VAC. Schneider Electric Easy TeSys series IEC thermal overload relays offer an adjustable current range and are designed for direct connection to the Easy TeSys contactors. They protect against overloads, phase failures, Iong starting times, and are available in ratings up to 32A.

New FTG enclosed style power distribution and terminal blocks provide a convenient central location to connect several wires and distribute power from a single source to multiple loads.

The enclosed power distribution blocks feature a modular design for easy multi-pole assembly and an IP20 finger-safe protection rating. They are offered in ampere ratings up to 380A, UL voltage ratings up to 1000 VAC/VDC, and a 100kA SCCR with proper fusing. New AchieVe FDM series 12mm tubular photoelectric sensors offer a rugged metal construction, high IP67 protection ratings, and sensing distances up to 4 meters. These photoelectric sensors feature selectable light-on/dark-on operation, a 10 to 30 VDC operating voltage range, potentiometer or teach-in button sensitivity adjustment, and a fast 1kHz switching frequency. Highly visible red LED models are offered with the polarized reflective sensing style, while infrared models are available in diffuse and through-beam styles.

The new AchieVe FDM series photoelectric sensors are UL Listed, CE and UKCA marked, and RoHS compliant. They offer a 3-year warranty and start at $35.00 (FDM3-0N-1A).

Bondhus hex and Torx tools are precision machined in the USA with a proprietary high-torque steel for reliable long-lasting service life. AutomationDirect has added the powerful LS Electric XMC motion controller to provide full EtherCAT master motion control. With a blindingly fast processor (scan times as low as 5ns) and built-in support for 8 or 16 axes of EtherCAT-based motion control (depending on the model), the XMC controller can handle virtually any motion control application. These brick-style controllers feature 8 discrete inputs, 16 discrete outputs, 2 analog inputs, and 2 analog outputs. Utilize the new EtherCAT bus coupler with the diverse LS XGB PLC I/O modules to expand the XMC controller I/O capability.

The controllers also have two embedded quadrature encoder inputs to support full-closed-loop control. If further I/O expansion is required, the controllers support the addition of up to 32 racks of EtherCAT remote I/O (depending on the model).

The new EtherCAT bus coupler (XEL-BSSCT) supports LS Electric XGB I/O modules (already offered by AutomationDirect) with over 30 I/O modules available, including discrete, analog, relay, temperature, high-speed counter, and load cell models. With the XEL-BSSCT bus coupler, these economical EtherCAT I/O racks are compatible with any EtherCAT master controller.

XMC controllers utilize the powerful XG5000 software to configure and program all the control logic for advanced motion and basic PLC applications. XG5000 has a comprehensive set of motion function blocks (in ladder or structured text) to handle any application. These function blocks meet the standards of PLCopen to ensure interoperability, efficiency, and easier code development for motion applications.

New Schmersal 250 series heavy-duty limit switches feature rugged cast iron housings for the harshest environments. The selection includes models with side rotary levers with metal or plastic rollers, metal belt alignment rollers, and high-temperature models with metal rollers. The belt alignment switches prevent costly equipment damage by providing warning, alarm, or auto-align signals when a conveyor belt drifts too far to one side and activates the switch.

New CITO StackFlow series modular process valves are a system of high-flow, robust components that can stack together to form a valve bank assembly. Each module includes common inlets at each end and an outlet discharge at the bottom. Manual and solenoid valves are available, as well as distribution blocks that can all be included in the same assembly. Port adapters are sold separately, allowing multiple threaded connection options to the inlet or outlet port. Flow control outlet port adapters allow fine-tuning fluid flow out of the discharge. End caps can be placed at one of the inlets and act as a blanking plate or include a temperature or pressure gauge. The new manifolds are rugged general-purpose models with 4 to 8 stations and come with a blue or red anodized finish. The new M12 field wireable connectors from Murrelektronik add additional cable size options to our current offering. New 5-pin A-coded connectors are available for 4-8mm/26-18 AWG cable sizes, in axial or 90° male or female connector styles. New D-coded connectors are available in 4-pin configurations for 4-8mm/26-18 AWG cable sizes, and in axial or 90° male connector styles. The NEMA 1 enclosures protect users from injury and the resistor from accidental damage. The included thermal switch can be wired directly into the drive control circuit to protect from overheating. A variety of new Metrol limit switches have been added to our growing lineup of precision limit switches. ProSense offers a new line of thermistor temperature sensors in a wide range of probe and installation styles. The 10K3 series sensors offer hex nipple probes, attached plug probes, lead wire transition probes, flange mount probes, bolt-on ring probes, cuttable probes, new bead and junction box probe styles, and more. They provide high accuracy and fast response times at a low cost. Also, new wall-mount ambient temperature sensors have been added to the existing line of RTD and thermocouple room sensors.

The Flowline LR80 EchoBeam^® FMCW (Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave) radar level transmitter features Flowline's 80 GHz radar technology, which is unaffected by most media, processes, or environmental factors. Newly added Endress+Hauser Cerabar PMP23 series hygienic pressure transmitters feature a compact stainless steel housing, a fully welded 1-1/2" sanitary tri-clamp process connection, and are approved for Food and Beverage applications. New general-purpose AC drives have been added to the IronHorse brand. These new VFDs support three control modes, including V/Hz, slip compensation, and sensorless vector, and come in various voltage and horsepower ratings at a very affordable price. The 230 VAC models can support AC motors up to 20hp with 230 VAC three-phase power and up to 10hp with 230 VAC single-phase power. The 460 VAC models support motor sizes up to 30hp with 460 VAC three-phase power and up to 15hp with 460 VAC single-phase power. The new BLOCK PM-0624-100-0 redundancy module prevents costly downtime by monitoring two matched BLOCK power supplies and switching to a backup when a failure occurs. The module also decouples the power supply outputs to prevent one supply from overloading the other.

AutomationDirect now offers a wide array of vinyl electrical tapes and insulating mastic and splicing tapes from Plymouth Rubber^®. Vinyl electrical tape is a high quality, all-weather tape that easily applies to surfaces and withstands a wide range of temperatures. These tapes include versions that can be used as protective outer jackets over splices, general insulation applications, and applications where elasticity, aggressive adhesion, and resistance to flames are required.

Insulating mastic and splicing tapes offer excellent adhesion and sealing for metals, rubbers, and synthetic cable insulations/jackets. These tapes are available in various types that can be used for applications requiring excellent stretch and conformability to complex shapes, protection for high temperature connections, high dielectric strength, waterproofing, insulation of overhead and direct buried electrical connections, and more.

The new STRIDE SE3 series PoE++ Ethernet switch provides both power and Ethernet communication to connected devices, allowing even more savings in your network design. This switch will auto-detect the presence of a PoE enabled device and provide up to 240W of DC power along with Fast or Gigabit Ethernet communication speeds to the powered device.

STRIDE SE3 Ethernet media converters provide copper-to-fiber and fiber-to-copper conversions. Converting from copper to fiber allows for faster data transmission, less noise interference, and extended ranges. Multi-mode SC 100FX, ST 100FX, or Gigabit SFP fiber optic connections available. SE3 media converters also feature 10/100Base-T or 10/100/1000Base-T RJ45 connections and Link Fault Pass (LFP) technology which will detect a loss of connection and halt any transmissions to make the system aware of the issue.

STRIDE PoE++ injectors provide a convenient way to add power to an Ethernet network where needed, convenient for adding PoE enabled devices, including web cameras and Wi-Fi access points, to an existing standard Ethernet network. PoE injectors provide greater flexibility with network design as the connected devices can be installed in locations without power readily available. New WERMA eSIGN series LED signal towers have the same advanced features as the original series but provide a white polycarbonate housing that offers a crisp, clean look. New SureMotion lighter-duty carriages and guides are available for linear motion applications. Carriage and guide systems are machine elements that move objects in a straight line with minimal friction or resistance. New discrete and relay I/O expansion modules have been added to the Productivity PLC family. For the Productivity1000 PLC series, a 4-channel, high current relay output module is now available. This module provides up to 7A/point for both DC and AC control circuits and features four Form C (normally open/normally closed) contacts.

For the Productivity2000 PLC series, a 6-channel, high current (7A/point) relay output module is available. Our LS Electric XGB PLC now offers EtherCAT controller modules that work in conjunction with our new lineup of LS Electric iX7 EtherCAT servo systems for advanced multi-axis motion control functionality.

The new Metal Work Regtronic series electro-pneumatic transducers utilize two internal solenoid valves to convert an electronic signal from a PLC or other controller to a regulated precision linear pneumatic output pressure. This dual solenoid design eliminates continuous supply air consumption, reducing operational costs. Regtronic transducers feature a maximum output pressure range up to 145 psig that can be controlled with 4-20 mA, 0-5 V or 0-10 V input signals, as well as RS232 communication or the integral keypad. Models are available with low flow and exhaust capacity for controlling small volume pneumatic loads without overshoot, and high flow and exhaust capacity for fast response time with large volume pneumatic loads. New ProSense XTH2 series fixed range, head-mounted temperature transmitters have been added to our lineup of temperature transmitters/signal conditioners.

The new XTH2 series fixed-range transmitters are for Type Pt100 3-wire RTDs and are ready to use out-of-the-box with pre-configured measuring ranges up to 500^°F (260^°C). These convenient head-mounted temperature transmitters are ideal for a variety of industrial applications and can be installed in any ProSense connection head or any DIN Form B sensor head.

The new P1AM-200 open-source CPU has been added to the ProductivityOpen line of controllers. This CPU can be programmed in C++ using the Arduino IDE or in CircuitPython using any text editor. CircuitPython is a derivative of the Python programming language built specifically for microcontrollers and uses a runtime interpreter instead of a compiler for more flexibility with code editors and code syntax. The P1AM-200 CPU hardware features up to 16MB of flash memory for code and file storage, a 120MHz processor, a Crypto coprocessor for higher performance when using encryption libraries, and a neo-pixel RGB LED for visualization of the CPU program status.
