C-more has plenty of project and data memory to store the screens and objects in your project.
C-more has 26MB of available built-in memory on 6", 8", and 10" models and 42MB on 12" and 15" units.
C-more accepts standard USB flash drives, sometimes called "pen drives". These small convenient drives are available in many sizes from less than 16 MB to more than 4GB of non-volatile memory.
USB drives can be used with C-more to log alarms, messages, even PLC data. Capture the actual C-more screen when certain events occur, and store the screen image on the USB drive for later reference. If the C-more panel is on a network, the contents of the USB drive can even be accessed via FTP or sent via e-mail (using the Event Manager) without removing it from the panel.
USB drives can also be used to upload a project to a C-more panel without having a PC present. This feature is great for updating remotely located panels - just send your project on a USB drive to any factory in the world, and remote C-more panels can be updated with the latest project.
AutomationDirect recommends and sells a 4GB SanDisk Cruzer Micro ( USB-FLASH ) for use with the C-more Operator Touch Panels.
C-more accepts standard "off the shelf" SD Flash memory cards. SD Flash memory cards can be used to log alarms, messages, even PLC data. Capture the actual C-more screen when certain events occur, and store the screen image on the SD Flash card for later reference. If the C-more panel is on a network, the contents of the flash device can even be accessed via FTP or e-mailed from the panel, without removing the flash device from the panel.
Use SD cards to upload a project to a C-more panel without having a PC present. This feature is great for updating remotely located panels - just send a Compact Flash drive to any factory in the world, and remote C-more panels can be updated with the latest project.
AutomationDirect recommends and sells an SD Memory Card ( EA-SD-CARD ) an industrial-grade, high-speed memory card for non-volatile storage. One SD card can be installed in all C-more Panels. Up to 2 SD cards can be installed in the 12" and 15" C-more panels.
In addition to Alarm and Message Logging, C-more can log PLC tag data to a file.
Use the Line Graph object and/or the PID Faceplate Trend Graph object to collect PLC tag data on a periodic basis (as fast as once per second), or based on a "trigger tag" from the PLC.
Track values for up to 16 PLC tags in each log file. The log files can be e-mailed automatically from the panel, accessed via FTP, or collected manually by simply removing the flash device from the C-more panel. The data files are saved in plain text format and can be viewed in your favorite text editor; like Notepad, MS-Word, or even imported into MS-Excel for additional analysis.
Historical data logging to USB drives and SD flash cards.
Collect large amounts of data or play back long historical records on trend graphs. Simply plug up to two SD and/or a USB memory device into the appropriate port on C-more for gigabytes of data logging storage. A 1GB flash card can hold around 250 million data points!
C-more allows the logging of both alarms and the less critical messages. Alarms and messages can be logged to either SD cards or USB flash devices. This information can then be quickly retrieved by swapping out the flash device. If your C-more is on a network, the alarms and messages can also be retrieved via FTP or the built-in webserver, without removing the flash device from the C-more panel.
