C-more offers high resolution touch overlays on all panels.
C-more uses an analog resistive touch overlay technology which is more reliable and provides a touch resolution that is actually higher than the pixel resolution of the screen.
This technology gives designers the ability to size buttons and other touchable-objects to any size. The familiar grid and snap functions are still available within the C-more programming environment to help you arrange objects on your screens, but your design is no longer locked into this grid.
Some other manufacturers use a grid of touch cells, some as large as 40 pixels square. On a 320 x 240 panel, this means only 48 touch cells. The 640 x 480 models have only 192 cells. This causes major limitations with button placements, and the sizing of objects on the screen. Your design is forced to fit onto the touch cell grid.
Equipment manufacturers will be pleased to see that the C-more panel can be "branded" with the manufacturer's own name or logo. The HMI is often a focal point for the machine, and now your logo can be front and center (well, in the upper, left corner anyway).
