Circuit protection terminal blocks provide electrically-protected connections between electronic components and control/field wiring. These blocks hold a replaceable protection device, and are sold in various styles and colors, in pre-packaged quantities, for wire sizes up to 6 AWG (depending on brand).

Circuit Protection Terminal Blocks
Category Selection
Circuit protection terminal blocks utilize a 5x20mm (KN and DN series) or a 5x25mm (DN series) fuse or a supplementary protector (DN series) to complete the current path of the connected circuit. These terminal blocks are also available with a polarity-sensitive blown fuse LED.

Konnect-It Screw-type Circuit Protection Terminal Blocks
Konnect-It KN series screw-type circuit protection terminal blocks are also known as fuse holder terminal blocks. These terminal blocks can be used with 5mm x 20mm glass fuses up to 6.3A.

DINnectors Screw-type Circuit Protection Terminal Blocks
DINnectors DN-F series screw-type fuse holder terminal blocks are available for various fuse types, with or without a blown fuse LED. Fuse terminal blocks with blown fuse LED are polarity sensitive; the hinge side is positive.
- Comprehensive terminal block series
- Available for 1/4", 5mm, Class CC, and midget size fuses
- Can terminate solid or stranded wires ranging from 24 to 6 AWG
- DN-F6 series fuse holders will accommodate ABC, AGC, MDA and MDL series fuses (sold by AutomationDirect)
- DN-F10 series fuse holders will accommodate GMA, GMC, S500, and S506 series fuses (sold by AutomationDirect)
DN-FE series terminal block sockets accept separately available circuit disconnects or supplementary protectors. These blocks are available either with or without a trip-indicating LED and are polarity-sensitive, with the LED side negative.
