Productivity3000 discrete AC I/O modules monitor and control ON/Off type devices that operate with AC power (120-240 VAC), such as power relays, pumps, motor starters and contactors. Modules are available in input or output models with up to 16 points.

Productivity3000 Modular PLC - AC I/O
Just like their DC counterparts, AC discrete I/O modules work with ON/OFF signals, but they use AC voltage instead of DC. Many sensors and actuators, including photoelectric sensors and solenoid valves, utilize AC signals, and these devices can easily be added to the Productivity3000 control system using these AC I/O modules.
