Different from discrete (ON/OFF) control, process control and measurement devices sense changing values over a set range (ex. 4 to 20mA) that are transmitted during continuous (flow production) or batch (a set quantity or output) processing. Some of the most common variables used for process control are pressure, flow, level, and temperature.
Process controllers take a signal from a temperature device, such as a thermocouple, RTD, or a pressure/flow/level sensor, and maintain a setpoint using a relay, voltage pulse, current, or linear voltage output (depending on model). Various controllers are available that support modes such as PID, ON/OFF, Ramp/Soak and Manual.
ProSense digital panel meters are available in 1/32 DIN and 1/8 DIN meter sizes with simple menu-driven pushbutton configuration.
Graphical panel meters combine the instant visual representation of an analog meter with the accuracy of a digital meter. This style of panel meter features a curved bar that provides an instant visual display, plus a digital readout for reading accuracy.
Trumeter hour meters and counters provide reliable counting and run hours tracking metered from processes, equipment, or machinery. These units are available in a variety of input voltage ranges and mounting options.

Flow sensors accurately measure the flow rate of a fluid, such as a gas or liquid, in a pipe or conduit and provide reliable feedback for monitoring and control in industrial processes.
Vibration sensors help avoid unplanned downtime by providing vibration monitoring of typical industrial machinery for implementing predictive maintenance strategies. ProSense vibration sensors measure the RMS vibration velocity of the device to which it is attached.

Signal conditioners convert process, temperature, and other electrical signals into voltage, current, or frequency signals for use with PLCs, loop controllers, encoders, digital displays, or any application requiring an isolated or analog signal.
Electro-pneumatic transducers (I/P or E/P) are regulators that control air pressure based on an analog input signal. These transducers convert a 4-20 mA current signal (I) or a 0-5/0-10 V voltage signal (E) from a PLC or other controller to a linear pneumatic output pressure (P).
HydroMode food grade potable water regulators are compact units that provide economical, high-performance pressure regulation of drinkable water.

Solenoid process valves work by energizing an electrical coil that causes a valve body to move from one position to another to allow or halt the flow of fluid. Solenoid process valves are available as singular process valves, stacking or manifold process valves, and media-separated process valves. A variety of valve types and their accessories are available, including:
Power meters are highly accurate devices that measure all the standard power parameters plus metering and harmonics. Meters are available in various mounting styles and operating voltages, and provide the following advantages:
