BRX (Stackable Micro Brick) PLCs - Analog I/O

Analog I/O accommodates signals that can vary between full ON and full OFF that discrete I/O cannot. It provides the PLC with the data it needs for precision control of a process. To measure the exact level in a holding tank, or to partly open a control valve, analog I/O is required. One important factor to remember with analog modules is the resolution they provide. The higher the resolution, the higher the accuracy of the input measurement or output response. Select models of BRX PLCs with built-in I/O offer up 6 analog I/O channels. Additional analog channels can be added to the BRX PLCs or to the BRX M series CPU using several analog I/O expansion modules.
