Category Selection
Variable frequency drives control the speed of alternating-current (AC) induction motors. In addition to saving energy, VFDs also reduce inrush current when starting a motor and provide controlled acceleration/deceleration to help prolong AC motor life.

DURApulse GS20 AC Drives
DURApulse GS20 general purpose vector control drives provide many standard and advanced functions, all in a compact unit. Speed control modes available include standard V/Hz with pulse input feedback, sensorless vector control (SVC), and ultra precise field oriented vector control (FOC).
IronHorse ACG Drives
The IronHorse ACG series of sensorless vector AC drives bridges the gap between a micro drive and high-performance VFD. These drives provide a variety of great features including dynamic braking, PID functionality, and RS-485 Modbus communication. All of the 230VAC and 460VAC models are fully capable of single-phase input capability (with derating), they offer several embedded analog and discrete I/O points, and can support up to two (2) independent IM motor parameter sets.
WEG CFW300 Drives
WEG CFW300 AC drives offer general purpose and ease-of-use with built-in HMI operator interface and SoftPLC, and support scalar (V/Hz) or voltage vector (VVW) control.

DURApulse GS30 AC Drives
DURApulse GS30 drives provide expanded parameter sets for greater versatility, several Ethernet communication options (including EtherCAT®), and advanced control modes including full closed loop for induction or permanent magnet AC motors.
Toshiba AS3 AC Drives
Toshiba is a brand known for ruggedness and durability. The AS3 drives include many great features built in, such as Ethernet communication, that are an added cost with other drives. On top of the many embedded features, optional features include EtherCAT communications, closed-loop vector control, and optional 120 vac IO card.
WEG CFW500 AC Drives
WEG CFW500 high-performance drives support closed-loop flux vector and torque control modes, available in sizes up to 150hp.
DURApulse GS4 AC Drives
DURApulse GS4 series AC drives handle applications up to 300hp, and support sensorless vector technology.
WEG CFW500 IP66 AC Drives
Same closed-loop flux vector technology as the CFW500 IP20 in a NEMA 4X rated enclosure, in sizes up to 20hp.
IronHorse ACN/ACNND Series AC Drives
ACN series NEMA 4X drives offer standard V/Hz, slip compensation, sensorless vector control (SVC), and torque control. Configure these drives with the free, user-friendly VFD Suite configuration software.
DURApulse GS20X NEMA 4X AC Drives
GS20X series NEMA 4X drives offer standard V/Hz with pulse input feedback, sensorless vector control (SVC), and Field Oriented Vector control.

Input line reactors protect the AC drive from transient overvoltage conditions typically caused by utility capacitor switching. Input line reactors also reduce the harmonics associated with AC drives and are recommended for all installations.
These components are compatible with various DURApulse, Toshiba GS series, and WEG drives (check specifications for selection).
Newest Additions!
Output line (load) reactors protect the motor insulation against AC drive short circuits and IGBT reflective wave damage, and also allow the motor to run cooler by "smoothing" the motor current waveform. They are recommended for operating "non-inverter-duty" motors, and for any motors where the length of wiring between the AC drive and motor is less than 100 feet.
For AC Drive-to-Motor wiring distances over 100 feet, use of the VTF series output filter is recommended.
Newest Additions!
Braking resistors are used to increase the braking torque of the AC drive, for frequently repeated ON-OFF cycles of the AC drive, or for decelerating a load with large inertia. Braking resistors are compatible with various AC drives (check specifications for selection).
Larger AC drives also require that dynamic braking units be used in conjunction with the appropriate braking resistors. Braking units are available for certain DURApulse drives.
Newest Additions!
Filters reduce electromagnetic interference and offer high performance for use in a variety of drive applications where long motor supply cable runs are necessary and where compliance with industrial noise limits is required.
Zero phase reactors, (aka RF noise filters) help reduce radiated noise from the inverter wiring and are effective for noise reduction on both the input and output sides of the inverter.
Components are compatible with various GS series, WEG, or other brands of drives (check specifications for selection).
Newest Additions!
Option cards are available to increase the I/O or add communications capabilities. Modules are available for various DURApulse, Toshiba, IronHorse, and WEG drives.
Options include (check for compatibility with specific drives):
