Analog I/O accommodates signals that can vary between full ON and full OFF that discrete I/O cannot. It provides the master PLC or other controller with the data it needs for precision control of a process. To know the exact liquid level in a tank or to partly open a control valve, analog I/O is required. One important factor to remember with analog modules is the resolution they provide. The higher the resolution, the higher the accuracy of the input measurement or output response.

• Analog modules easily snap onto the side of the bus coupler
• Standard analog I/O modules available in a selection of measurement and/or control signal ranges including 0-20 mA, 4-20 mA, and 0-10 VDC
