Non-contact coded magnetic safety switches can monitor opening/closing of machine guards, doors or other machinery. Coding offers a degree of tamper resistance for magnetically operated switches; physical contact is not required between the switch and actuator. Certain models are IP69K rated.

Coded Magnetic Non-contact Safety Switches
Category Selection
With coded magnetic safety switches, the safety switch and actuator work together in such a way that the safety device is only triggered if the actuating element is within the switch's response range and the code on the actuator matches that of the switch.
- Conform to IEC 60947-5-3 and be used as directed by EN1088, EN ISO12100 and EN 60204-1
- When used in combination with a dual-channel safety relay, non-contact coded switches can be used to provide protection up to Category 4 and PL e to ISO 13849-1
- Will operate with most safety relays

Mini Coded Magnetic Non-Contact Safety Switches
IDEM MPC/MMC series switches are a cost-effective interlock solution whose Miniture (36 x 26mm) design makes them ideal for small guard applications.
