Productivity2000® Micro-Modular PLC - CPUs
The PLC CPU is the brain of the control system and contains a microprocessor, memory storage, and other integrated circuits that are used to execute the control program, store logic data, and communicate to external devices. PLC CPUs follow a repeated sequence of operations that perform those functions and other internal processes. Below is an example of a typical PLC scan.
The high-performance Productivity2000 CPUs have ample memory, numerous I/O options, and the processing power needed for advanced automated systems, all at incredible prices and with free software and support.
- 50Mbyte user memory
- 4 x 10-character OLED display for system alarms, status information, and user-defined messages
- 5 built-in communications ports:
- USB
- Ethernet
- Remote I/O (P2-622 remote I/O port can also be configured as a secondary general-purpose Ethernet port)
- RS-232
- RS-485 (software configurable RS-232/485 serial ports on P2-622 CPU)
- EtherNet/IP scanner/adapter as a standard protocol
- MQTT protocol support for easy connections to cloud computing platforms (P2-622 CPU supports the secure MQTTS protocol)
- Over 4,000 I/O points possible when using local and remote I/O
- Plug-and-play USB programming
- Remote I/O port for GS series VFD and PS-AMC motion controller connections, or thousands of additional remote I/O points using P2-RS or P1-RX remote expansion modules and/or the Protos X field I/O system
- MicroSD card slot for program transfer and data logging
- Tag database and program documentation storage in CPU (program pre-loaded on PC not necessary)
