Flowline Reflective Ultrasonic Level Sensors

Non-contact EchoPod and EchoTouch reflective ultrasonic liquid level sensors feature Flowline's proprietary Reflective Technology™ that delivers reliable level measurement in condensing environments. These innovative level sensors replace ultrasonic level sensors in condensation applications and other float, conductance and pressure sensors that fail due to contact with dirty, sticky and scaling media in small, medium and large capacity tanks.

Both general purpose and intrinsically safe versions are available with single and multi-function capabilities, including continuous level measurement, switching and control.

• The standard 4-20 mA output is easily monitored by a PLC or other controller

Innovative ultrasonic liquid level sensors - software or pushbutton configured!

The Flowline EchoPod®, EchoSonic® II, EchoSpan® and EchoSwitch® are innovative ultrasonic liquid level sensor families that replace float, conductance and pressure sensors that fail due to contact with dirty, sticky and scaling liquids in small, medium and large capacity tanks. These liquid level sensors can be used in either open or enclosed tanks (not suitable for pressurized tanks). PC software configured or pushbutton configured models are available.

Applications

These Flowline fluid level sensors are ideal for use as water level sensors, liquid level switches to turn pumps or motors ON or OFF, liquid level transmitters, tank level sensors, or other applications requiring accurate and continuous liquid level control or liquid level measurement.

• Typically used in chemical, water and wastewater applications, these general purpose fluid level sensors are available with single and multi-function capabilities including continuous level measurement, switching and level control.
• For input to a PLC or other controller, liquid level measurement output types include current, voltage and frequency.
• Models with three or four relays can be configured for liquid level alarms and/or stand-alone liquid level control such as automatic fill or empty functions using the embedded level controller.

Configuration

• Software Configuration: PC required but with extra added features. For software configured sensors, PC configuration is simple with FREE WebCal™ level sensor software and the programming fob with USB adapter.
• Pushbutton Configuration: No PC required. Pushbutton configured units are easily configured using the built-in pushbuttons
