Use the P2-RS module in the controller slot to create a remote I/O rack for your Productivity2000 system. Use standard Ethernet switches to connect up to eight remote slaves to a P2 master controller.

- RS-232 (RJ12) port supports Modbus RTU Master/Slave and ASCII In/out protocol(s) at up to 115.2 kbaud

Productivity1000 Remote Slave Module:
The P1-RX module can be used with the P2-550 CPU for an even lower cost remote I/O solution. Connect up to eight P1-RX remote I/O slave modules to a P2 master controller.
