Insulated ferrules are cylindrically shaped tubes crimped to the ends of stranded wire to provide a reliable connection from wire to termination point. In standard- or DIN color, single or twin wire styles, these ferrules are available for various size conductors, and sold in bulk quantities.

Fully or partially insulated bullet terminals slide over a wire end and are crimped at the insulated collar; the opposite end offers a rounded male bullet or female receptacle that slides into/over a mating connector.
