Detection light grids are perfect for sensing objects at random positions as they pass through the target area, with simple NO/NC selectable discrete outputs. Multi-beam photoeye arrays detect presence anywhere within the controlled height of the sensor array. (Not for use as safety light curtains)

Category Selection
Non-safety detection light grids, also known as light curtains, are optoelectronic sensors used in industrial automation for a variety of non-safety related tasks, such as:
- Accurately counting objects passing through the light grid, such as products on a conveyor belt.
- Detecting the presence or absence of parts in a machine, ensuring proper operation, and preventing malfunctions.
- Identifying the edges of objects for tasks such as cutting, aligning, or sorting.
- Monitoring the flow of materials through a process to ensure smooth operation and prevent jams.
These devices from Micro Detectors, ReeR, and ProSense require a sender (emitter) and receiver, and may be sold as individual components or as a pair.
