Rack Cabinets
Hammond 19-inch rack cabinets provide a wide variety of options to rack mount equipment. These cabinets are ideal for securing equipment in spaces where room for a traditional rack or cabinet is limited or not available. Their modular design and accessories allow for numerous configurations to suit a wide variety of applications.
- Available in 3U, 6U, and 9U heights.

Wall-Mount Racks
Hammond wall-mount 19-inch-wide data communication racks are ideal for securing rack-mountable equipment where tight or limited space is a consideration. These racks offer easy depth adjustment and rear cable access and are available with adjustable depth hinge or with a shelf.
- Available in 4U and 8U mounting heights (hinged model also available in 6U and 12U heights)
- Adjustable depth from 12 to 18 inches

Open Racks
Hammond open-frame data communication racks allow flexible and easy installation of rack equipment by providing rack unit divider markers and threaded rails on the front and back of the rack. These racks are made of steel and are available in various styles, including seismic environment models engineered to perform in very critical environments, and a desktop model ideal for small IT projects, security, and AV applications.
- Multiple holes provided for mounting power distribution, cable management, and other accessories
- Side mounting holes can also be used to gang racks together
- Bonding is possible using two pairs of integrated 10-32 ground studs
- Desktop racking available in 6U, 8U, 12U, and 16U heights

Rack Rails / Frames / Angles / Channels
Rack rails, frames, angles, and channels provide mounting and support solutions that help configure your rack system as efficiently as possible.
- Rack rails include 10-32 holes for easy mounting (hardware not included)
- Rack rails and rack angle brackets can be used for 19-, 23-, and 24-inch rack mounting applications
- Rack angle brackets are adjustable to two depth options
Instrument Enclosures
Instrument enclosures are designed to enclose and protect electrical and/or electronic instrumentation equipment for industrial applications and are also great for applications requiring desktop or rack mounting. These enclosures are constructed with extruded aluminum side, front and rear panels, and flat aluminum top and bottom panels painted with textured black powder coat.

Panels
Solid or perforated panels for 19-inch data communication rack cabinets are typically used to improve cooling efficiency or prevent air recirculation. Replacement panels for instrument enclosures can be used to convert vented enclosures to solid construction and vice-versa.

Drawers

Rail Depth Adapters
Rail depth adapter kits for data communication racks allow equipment to be mounted four inches in or out from the rails. Adapters are useful when mounting outlet strips or equipment with no clearance.

Support Brackets
Support brackets for data communication racks are similar to a shelf but also allow the rack equipment to be positioned in the center of the rack, which can help stabilize the rack while using less space.

- Mount to front and/or rear on 19-, 23-, or 24-inch racks

Grounding & Isolation
Grounding and isolation kits provide grounding solutions for open frame racks. Available kits include.
- A horizontal heavy-gauge copper bonding busbar that attaches to the inside of the enclosure
- A cabinet or frame rack to provide consolidated equipment grounds
- Grounding bar and copper busbar have an electro-tin plating that inhibits copper oxidation
- Bond wiring kits that include various lengths of 10-gauge copper wire terminated with crimped-on terminals
Fans
Fan kits for data communication racks extend the life of rack-mounted equipment by increasing airflow within the rack or cabinet. Fan kits are available with one or two fans.
- Includes all essential parts and two chrome fan grills for added safety

Fasteners
Fasteners for data communication rack systems include rack screws, cage nuts, clip nuts, and thumb screws.
