This instruction is used to move the file pointer within a specified file. This file must have already been opened using the File Open instruction. Now, the location of the File Pointer in a currently opened file, is stored in the. FilePointer field. This instruction can be used in Task or Program but cannot be used in Subroutines or Interrupt service routines.
