WAGO multi-channel circuit breakers are available in two, four and eight channels. These electronic circuit breakers monitor load current and reliably recognize overloads and short circuits on an output. Circuit breaker electronics permit brief current peaks and switch longer overloads off. The rated current for each output of the multi-channel units can be set with a current selector switch. The outputs are time-delay and load-dependent activated to avoid overload current. Models range from 0.5-10A nominal current, adjustable for each channel via sealable selector switch. One illuminated and three color buttons per channel simplify switching (on/off), resetting, and on-site diagnostics. Output state is indicated with a multi-colored LED. WAGO space-saving single-channel electronic breakers are also available and up to 10 can be bused together.

Monday Minute at AutomationDirect. AutomationDirect recently launched new Multi-Channel Electronic Circuit Breakers from the brand WAGO. These new WAGO multi-channel circuit breakers are available in two, four and eight channels. These electronic circuit breakers monitor load current and reliably recognize overloads and short circuits on an output. Circuit breaker electronics permit brief current peaks and switch longer overloads off. The rated current for each output of the multi-channel units can be individually set with a current selector switch, which is accessible from the front. The outputs are time-delay and load- dependent activated to avoid overload current. If the rated current is exceeded for a set time, the output will be switched off automatically and can be switched on after a waiting time using the pushbutton or the remote signal-input S1. The pushbutton can also be used to switch the output manually. The state of each output is also indicated with a multi-colored LED. WAGO space-saving single channel electronic breakers safely and reliably stop power in the event of an overload or short circuits on the secondary side. Up to 10 single channel units can be bused together with Jumper bars. These WAGO breakers offer these agency approvals and they carry a 2-year warranty.
