AutomationDirect offers the iX7 series of EtherCAT servo drives from LS Electric. This high-end servo series allows multi-axis integrated motion over Ethernet, using the EtherCAT communication protocol. It can be paired with the XGB PLC series for up to 16 axes of servo motion! These drives work with many of the same motors as the L7P servos. If you already have a system deployed, updating to the iX7 may be cheaper than you think!
