C-more HMI Touch Panel New EA9 Series KickStart at AutomationDirect

Welcome to kick-start, where you get to see new products here at AutomationDirect. Today I'm going to show you our latest hardware release for the c-more touch panels, called our EA 9 series. The EA 9 series of c-more panels offer improved performance, reliability, and more features; And all of this at a lower cost to you. That's right our engineers have taken the feedback from our C-more customers and created a better product and did it for less money. Which means we pass on the savings to You. The new EA 9 series of c-more touch panels include six new panels and new software. There are new panels with 6, 8 10, 12, and 15-inch sizes offering: increased performance, increased memory, increased connectivity, increased display resolution, increased reliability, and increased power ranges. The EA9 family has over 65,000 colors, new LED backlights, a stronger frame support, slimmer bezel, and don't worry the new panels fit into the older cutouts but require less real estate in your enclosure freeing up room. The EA 9 Series offers up to 3 serial communications ports that can communicate to multiple devices at one time based on your application. The reduced base six-inch model only supports one serial comport. The expansion memory options have been updated from compact flash to the newer SD card memory type. The audio output is still available and can be used with amplified speakers for applications where sound files, may be required to alert operators. There is an audio in line that will be for future use. The type a USB 2.0 port can be used for external memory or standard hid USB devices like a mouse keyboard or barcode scanner. They now have LED indicators on the Bezels, like a power LED and a user programmable status LED. The 12 and 15 inch even have an HDMI video out port for connecting large flat-screen TVs or monitors and a second SD slot and accommodate larger projects. One of the cool features with the new slim bezel, is it now offers an OEM custom label on the bezel allowing you or your company to brand the panel or machine. The new software will allow backwards compatibility. Meaning that all of your old projects can be imported and used in the new panels. And as mentioned previously all of the new panels can be mounted in the cutout of your older c-more ea7 panels. Lastly the new panel now operates on 12 to 24 volts, DC whereas the older panels where 24 volts DC only. This allows for more applications without the use of voltage converters.
