KickStart Wenglor Contrast Sensors at AutomationDirect

There are 6 new contrast sensors in this launch as well as new mounting brackets. So, if you want to learn more, keep watching! Contrast sensors determine contrast by sensing reflected white light to detect the difference in the wavelength of the reflected light between the mark and background. Contrast sensors also known as print mark detection sensors are used in applications like packaging lines, beverage and bottling applications, as well as paper and printing applications. These new Wenglor contrast sensors all operate on 10 to 30 volts DC and come in sensing ranges of 12 to 40mm distances depending on the sensor models. You can select from NPN or PNP models and they all have Teach In sensitivity adjustments. The OPT2024 and 25 models are normally open and require an M12, 4 pin quick disconnect cable. The OPT2026, 27, 28 and 29 models are normally open or normally closed and require an M12, 8 pin quick disconnect cable and the cable base connector can be rotated 270 degrees for mounting in confined spaces.
