C-More Micro HMI Viewing Hardware Extensions from AutomationDirect

You can view which hardware modules that are currently plugged in to your C-More Micro from the Setup Menu. Press F1 and F5 at the same time for 3 seconds to bring up that setup menu. We can’t press both buttons at the same time with our mouse, so the simulator allows you to right click and select Go To Setup Menu to accomplish the same thing Choose “Information” – Extensions – and you can see what exactly is plugged into this panel. Right now we just have serial port 1. But, for example – let’s shrink this down – let’s artificially add a keypad bezel. Let’s back out of this menu and go back into it and you can see, now this has a serial port and Bezel 1 installed. If I modify this with Bezel 2 – I’m pretending I’m plugging this panel into this optional keypad bezel – and I check my extensions then I can see that now I have the serial port AND keypad bezel 2. This is a great way to see if you have connectivity with any accessories you have plugged in. For example, suppose your keypad bezel is not working. If you don’t see it here, then the C-More Micro is unable to communicate with it so check and make sure it is firmly seated and the connector is fully engaged.
