Wenglor Laser Distance Measurement Sensors at AutomationDirect

There are 4 new laser distance sensors in this launch as well as new mounting brackets. So, if you want to learn more keep watching! Laser sensors use highly focused laser light to detect objects or measure distances, and can return a measured value regardless of ambient light, or the object's material, color or brightness and they are very accurate. Applications where these are used are in distance monitoring, fill level measurement, bulk solid measuring, stack height measuring and more! These 4 new photoelectric laser sensors from Wenglor are diffuse style with background suppression. They are all 32 by 22 by 12mm rectangular housings, offer a 0 to 1-meter sensing distance and operate on 10 to 30 volts DC. They are available in an M8 quick disconnect at the housing, M8 disconnect on a 200mm cable, M12 disconnect on a 200mm cable, or a 2meter pigtail version. These laser sensors are all rated Class 1 laser light emission. They have PNP outputs and can be wired normally open or normally closed.
