Welcome to Kickstart where you get to see new products here at AutomationDirect. Today I am going to show you Wera Tools new Zyklop ratchets and sockets. Wera Tools is known for product innovations in tool design and they make some of the most robust user friendly hand tools that I have ever put in my toolbox. You won't find tools like these at your local big box store.
First I will show you the wera ratchets and capabilities. These are called Zyklop ratchets and have the same Kraftform Plus handles used on their screwdrivers. These handles are comfortable for your hand and offer superior grip. The Zyklop ratchets have a unique swivel head that locks in 5 positions allowing you to gain motion in even the tightest working environments. Let me demonstrate.
Tests have shown that these wera ratchets allow assembly three times faster than a standard ratchet.
These Zyklop ratchets also have a fine tooth ratchet design that allows operation in tight spaces with travel as low as 5 degrees. All ratchets include an easy-to-grip free-turning sleeve for faster work when using the ratchet as a screwdriver. Wera Ratchets are made of chrome molybdenum steel with a nickel-chrome coating for corrosion protection.
These ratchets that are available individually in ¼", 3/8" & ½" drive sizes. You can purchase these in socket sets as well, but those will be a separate video.
Next are the Wera sockets that are available in small sets of sockets only or in larger sets that include a Zyklop ratchet and other accessories (again, that will be a separate video).
These Socket Sets are made from high quality chrome vanadium steel and have a knurled edge for manual turning, and have laser etched numbering and markings for easy to read socket sizes. Inch and metric socket sizes are available with 1/4, 3/8 or 1/2 inch square drive and these Individual socket sets come on rails to keep track of loose sockets
These Wera tools have a lifetime warranty against manufacturer defects.
