NITRA Pneumatics Exhaust Silencers from KickStart at AutomationDirect

[music] >>Shane Crider: Welcome to KickStart, where you get to see new products from AutomationDirect. What we’re going to talk about today are our exhaust silencers for our NITRA line of Pneumatics. An exhaust silencer is actually something you’re going to use on a solenoid valve or on a manifold that has multiple solenoid valves. Now on solenoid valves you have an exhaust port. If you don’t have an exhaust silencer on that port, you can actually get contaminants inside. You don’t want that. So what one of these is going to do is keep it from getting contaminants inside, It’s also going to keep from blowing a lot of air around. So if you had any dust around your machine it would keep you from blowing that dust around. And also, it will lower the noise levels on the exhaust coming out. Now what we’ve got are brass bodies with male threads. Let me use some of the larger ones you can see on camera here. We have these in a couple different styles. You can get these in an NPT, which is our standard or inch size, and you can also get these in a BSPT, for metric sized threads. They come in two styles: Cone, which is more common. Or you can also get these in a flat shape, as you see here. These are sold in bags of two. There is a total of 18 part numbers that we’ve got here. And, they all have a one year warranty.
