When the assigned bit to this contact, transitions from off to on this contact will permit power flow for one complete PLC scan. Upon the next scan, this contact will open no matter the state of the assigned bit. Since this action happens in one PLC scan, it is unlikely you will ever see status indication in the programming software. Use an increment or counter instruction to verify the contact. This contact can be assigned to the ladder logic by using the Shift- F2 hotkey. While in edit mode you can slash to toggle between leading edge and trailing One-shot Contacts.
