It can print on tapes up to 1.5 inches wide and shrink tubing up to 7/8 inch for clear, easy-to-read labels. Magnetic tape and die-cut labels are also available! You can even print barcodes and images. With both half-cut and full-cut options, labeling is a breeze. Print a single label or sequence them to speed up your wiring projects. This printer is packed with features, so let’s explore a few! You can customize this printer to create nearly any label you need in the field—general labels, punch block labels, flag labels, wrap-around labels, block-66 labels, and faceplate labels are all at your fingertips. Save frequently used labels directly to the device for quick reprinting whenever needed. If you require labels of varying lengths, the printer can handle that too! The half-cut feature ensures labels are separated at the adhesive backing rather than being fully cut, making them easy to peel as needed. The half-cut feature also makes labeling and tubing insertion more efficient. For example, if you need five labels for VFDs in your panel and want to ensure each wire connects to the correct output in your PLC, sequencing is simple. 1. Turn on the printer and enter "VFD." 2. Press the sequencing button on the bottom left of the printer, enter "01" for the first VFD, and press return. 3. Specify how many times you want it repeated, then press return. 4. Your screen should now display "01" with dots over it. 5. Press shift and print to access the special print menu, then find "Print Copies." 6. Press return, enter the number of copies needed, and press return to start printing. Once the shrink tubing begins to print, you’ll notice that the cuts don’t go all the way through. Simply insert the wire into the first label, break it off, and repeat until all your wires are labeled. It’s that easy! To make wrap-around labels, it's just as easy. 1. Start by pressing the wrap button. 2. Once the menu opens, select diameter or length and press return. 3. Enter the label length and press return. 4. Select whether to have the text repeat and press return. 5. Select your margins and press return. The tape/3 is a third of your tape width, and tape is the entire width of the tape. 6. Enter the text. 7. Hit print, and your labels are ready to go! You can never be too prepared on the job site!
