Wera Tools: Screwdriver - Wera Chisel, Slim Line, Extra-Long & More at AutomationDirect

Welcome to Kickstart where you get to see new products here at AutomationDirect. Today I am going to show you our new screwdriver line extension from the brand Wera. AutomationDirect has offered screwdrivers since our beginning. We have been adding more and more tools in order to become your one stop shop. We have now added 15 new parts to our screwdriver product line like Chisel screwdrivers, slim line insulated screwdrivers, extra-long screwdrivers and more. Let’s take a look at each of these styles. First we have the Chisel Drivers and they are available as Individuals or Sets. These Wera chisel screwdrivers are the tools for the job when regular screwdrivers are not quite enough. The hexagonal blade goes through the handle to an impact cap with integral 1/4 inch square socket. It also has an integrated hex bolster for applying torque with a wrench. This model is suitable for fastening, chiseling, and loosening seized screws. They come in flat (slotted) and Phillips. The Six-piece chisel screwdriver set includes four flat and two Phillips screwdrivers. Next we have slim line insulated screwdrivers available as individuals and sets. These offer reduced diameter tips that have a smaller diameter blade to allow access to recessed screws such as those used in terminal blocks like these. They have a 1000 volt insulation rating. They are available in flat and Phillips and the six-piece sets come with three flat, two Phillips and one single pole voltage tester. Last is the extra-long Standard Screwdrivers. These are sold as individuals only with two flat and two Phillips sizes. Not much to say about these other than they have the same quality and performance as the standard Wera screwdrivers but in an extra-long length. All of these Wera screwdrivers have the Ergonomic “Kraftform” handles that are easy on the hands for gripping and turning. All of the handles have markings and include the symbol and size and all sets come with this wall mount rack. These wera tools have a lifetime warranty against manufacturer defects.
