This contact is used to evaluate if there is a change in value of the assigned register from one PLC scan to the next. If the value has changed it will enable Power flow through the contact. Since this action happens in one PLC scan it is unlikely you will ever see status indication of this change, in the programming software. Use an increment or counter instruction to verify the contact’s operation. This contact supports integers Reals, or even bits.
