This contact is used to invert the power flow coming into the contact. The application of this contact is more clear if you see an example. For instance, If the manual mode contact is true then power flow will be conducted through to this instruction. If the manual mode contact is false then it will enable this instruction. This contact must be in series with no parallel contact above or below it.
