C-more Micro HMI Static Text from AutomationDirect

The TEXT object is the simplest of all. If you have seen any of the other videos then you have seen how we use Static Text all over the place to label things, create titles, and to replace axis on graphs. LetÕs see how to set this up. To create static text, you can Double click or Drag the TEXT object onto the screen Ð or if you see something you like over here in the parts list, you can just drag that onto the screen and it will save you the trouble of setting it up yourself. Type the text you want here, choose the color Ð in black and white you have two choices, you can align the text, left right, top bottom, all the usual stuff and you can select the font Ð either the built in font or your windows font Ð along with the usual effects Ð bold, underline, italic, ec. On the color panels this works the same way, but now you can change the text and the background color to pretty much anything you want. LetÕs just grab one of these samples out of our parts list here .. and since this one is already setup we are done unless we donÕt like it. LetÕs go change it real quick. Double click. LetÕs change our text color to blue. LetÕs change our font Ð letÕs make it a much bigger text É and even change the font. And thereÕs our new static text object.
