When the assigned bit to this contact, transition from on to off, this contact will permit power flow for one complete PLC scan. Upon the next scan the contact will open no matter the state of the assigned bit. Since this action happens in one PLC scan, it is unlikely you will see status indication in the programming software. Use an increment or counter instruction to verify the contact. This contact can be assigned to the ladder logic by using the Shift- F3 hotkey.
