This instruction is used to send data from a string or Numeric Data block, to a file that has been opened using the FILEOPEN instruction. It does this by writing data at the File handle structure’s file pointer value. Then increments that pointer value appropriately. So, this instruction can be used in Task or Program but cannot be used in Subroutines or Interrupt service routines.
