C-more HMI: How to Backup and Restore Without a PC from AutomationDirect

With the C-more HMI you can backup your C-more project without having to use a Laptop or PC connection. This is done by using a USB flash drive or SD card. To start the process, you will need to access the system screen. This can be done by pressing and holding the upper left-hand portion of the screen for 3 seconds. Acknowledge the system screen being called. Select Memory and then select Backup. Now, select the device you want to store this backup to. Hit Next Select what you would like to backup. I will select my Project file and firmware. Select next. Now the panel will go through the process of copying these files to your device. When complete select OK and go back to the main menu. Now you have a portable copy of your project, just in case you ever have a problem. The Backup has created this file Structure onto the backup device. These files must remain in this file structure for the panel to use the information during the restore process. Now to restore the Project, it is the same process. Enter the system screen. Acknowledge the system screen called. Select the memory and then select Restore. Select the drive where the backup is stored. Select what components you want to restore. Select Next. Select OK. When complete select OK and your HMI will reboot.
