The new C-more (HMI) Human Machine Interface configuration software version 6.0, from AutomationDirect, delivers more functionality, more usability and more value to our popular C-more HMIs. The new software offers more alarm and recipe features, additional math and tag logic, plus improved Windows compatibility. This newest version is compatible with all previous C-more projects and includes:
New menu options, customizable toolbars, updated graphics and more to provide improved ease of use.
New tag combinations added to the event manager allow for simple logic with multiple events. Users can combine up to four different tags to trigger actions based on logical results, going beyond simple alarm and message functions. The easy-to-use event manager allows actions to be taken on a screen change, a set date or time, a single tag status or value, and now on a combination of tag status or values.
New math functions add more computing power to the project. Create custom formulas with constants or tag values or use the math keypad which provides access to simple and complex operations including log, sine, and square root.
An enhanced alarm list offers more options for alarm customization and new alarm filters allow for dedicated alarm summaries. The alarm list object allows operator interaction with alarms that have occurred and allows operators to view, confirm or clear the alarms. Alarms can include specific messages with embedded PLC tag data, as well as, date and time information for the alarm status.
Among the added accessibility features, a new object layer list window shows all the objects on the active screen and allows the user to lock/unlock, hide/unhide objects or quickly select them for editing. It also allows access to individual objects in a group without ungrouping and contains additional lists for hidden, locked or overlapping objects. New recipe functions allow access to databases containing 99 recipe sheets, each with 1000 recipes of 256 possible tags or values can now be modified and saved on-the-fly while the machine is running.
Take a look at our new C-more software 6.0 for the newer C-more EA9 touch panels. The new 6.0 C-more software is compatible with all previous C-more projects. If you have the older software your old key code will unlock all the benefits and features of version 6.0. C-more software 6.0 has a new GUI for development environment. The first noticeable difference is the color theme/ Here we're using a black background theme. If you wanna change go to window, application looks, and select the theme color you prefer including the original look from previous C-more versions. You can see that the look and feel of the workspace layout is for the most part the same. So no learning curves. 6.0 is a mouse friendly drag-and-drop or dockable environment making customization or programming fast and simple. The new object layer list allows users to access anything on the screen. Here we can see all objects, overlapping objects, hidden objects, and locked objects. Here's a group of buttons and we can use the find overlapping object folder to show what objects are in this selection. Users can edit one object at a time like this one push button. The new feature allows this one object to be grouped or un-grouped. If there's a busy screen in an object is in the way during editing that object can be hidden. Under the hidden tab we can view all the objects that are hidden and unhide them. There is now a locking feature allowing an item or object to be locked protecting it from accidentally edited or moved. The locking feature remains with the project so several programmers can work on one project without accidentally editing the others work. Another great new feature is it's now easier to adjust multiple screen border. Simply drag-and-drop screens to new locations. Plus if a project has hundreds of screens instead scrolling down to find a screen you can now right click on-screen, go to jump to screen, and then select the screen needed. There are over 4000 images in the symbol factory. User-configurable gradients can now be set as defaults. In the Event Manager we can now create up to 4 tags for tag combinations and create simple logic with in the C-more panel as seen. The user can select from many actions like these. Projects can now have custom formulas using the new math functions adding more computing power to the project. An enhanced alarm list offers more options for alarm customization and new alarm filters allow for dedicated alarm summaries. Alarms can include specific messages with embedded PLC tag data as well as date and time information for the alarm status. New recipe functions allow access to databases containing 99 recipe sheets each with one thousand recipes up 256 possible tags or values, which can now be modified and saved on the fly while the machine is running. These are only a few of the many new features and benefits C-more 6.0 software.
