This video will walk you through the Connection of the Productivity AMC motion controller to your Productivity PLC.
The Productivity Suite programming software for these PL Cs has numerous built-in motion instructions that allow you to quickly and easily configure common motion profiles using simple drop-down selections. If you need something different, you can also create your own custom move
profiles using the convenient Motion Sequencer (MSEQ) instruction.

Integrating your PS-AMC motion controller to your remote I/O compatible Productivity PLC, is made easy by using the auto-discovery tool in the Productivity suite hardware configuration. When connecting these units to your Productivity PLC, you can have up to 4 AMC units for either the P3000 or the P2000 CPUs for a possibility of up to 16 axes of motion on these PLCs. And 1 AMC unit for your P1000 CPU. First, you will need to set a unique node ID on your AMC unit, using these address dials. Then connect the unit to your existing remote I/O network on Productivity PLC. Now that you have your AMC unit connected, connect the Productivity software to your Productivity PLC and enter the hardware configuration. With your CPU in Stop, hit this button to scan for any hardware changes. Then you will be prompted to add your new AMC controller to your hardware configuration. Once your controller is in your hardware configuration just set up your axis configuration. A video on the axis configuration can be found in the description below. Once you have your axis set up, send your project to your Productivity PLC and you are up and running. Productivity supplying the tools to get the most of your Control System.
