Undriven linear slides are used in multi-axis systems and run parallel to a linear actuator of the same travel length. These slides are used to stabilize the X-axis for more consistent, accurate operation. Mounting hardware to assemble a multi-axis system is available.

Undriven linear slides are support devices used to help stabilize a multi-axis gantry system, provide assistance with moving loads, and ensure motion is straight and level.
Non-actuated linear slides usually consist of a carriage and a rail. The carriage is used to support the load as it slides across the rail. These slides can be used with many actuator styles, including stepper motor linear actuators or rack and pinion systems, to build a variety of machine mechanisms.
