Pneumatic transducers utilize electrical signals (current or voltage) to control air pressure. I/P transducers convert a 4-20 mA current signal (I) from a PLC or other controller to a linear pneumatic output pressure (P). E/P transducers perform the same function as an I/P transducer but accept a 0-5 or 0-10 V voltage (E) input instead of current.
Used in paper and paper converting, food and drug, petrochemical, HVAC, textile, and energy management industries, these transducers provide highly reliable and repeatable operation of a variety of pneumatic components including pneumatic valve positioners, air cylinders, damper and louver actuators, and web tensioners.
