Circuit protection is a critical part of any industrial or commercial installation, to meet national codes and safely protect equipment and processes from overloads and short-circuits. An extensive selection of circuit breakers, supplementary protectors, fuses and holders, and disconnects is available, many complying with UL 98, UL 508, UL 489, and UL 1008 standards.
Circuit breakers protect equipment and processes from overload or short-circuits that could cause damage or safety issues. Products include UL 489 molded case and miniature circuit breakers, electronic circuit protectors, and UL 1077 supplementary protectors.
Fuses provide short-circuit and overload protection in an electrical circuit to prevent damage to the load or power source. They are available for current ratings from 1mA to 1200A and in a wide selection of operating characteristics to fit specific needs.
Fuse holders facilitate fusing solutions for system/component protection and provide a quick and easy way to install and replace fuses. Offered in single, fixed-multiple, or modular styles to satisfy industrial overcurrent protection needs, these holders are compatible with many fuse types.
Fuse blocks and power distribution blocks aid in fuse installation and power wiring for electrical systems. Blocks with spring-reinforced clips ensure fuses remain in place and maintain good electrical connections. Fuse blocks are offered in single, fixed-multiple, or modular styles to satisfy industrial power wiring/overcurrent protection applications and are compatible with many fuse types.
Disconnects maintain maximum safety by ensuring a circuit is completely de-energized for service. UL 98, 508, and 1008 rated fused and non-fused disconnects provide suitable disconnecting means up to 600A for the most demanding applications.
Manual transfer switches provide safe, manually operated transfer and disconnection of sources, even under load conditions (not to be used as a motor disconnect).
Motor transfer cam switches allow smooth changeover from one motor to another, while motor reversing switches allow smooth direction change.
Pin and sleeve interlocked motor disconnects provide convenient and safe connection for mobile equipment.
