MQTT is a machine-to-machine "Internet of Things" connectivity protocol. It is designed as a publish/subscribe messaging transport that is useful for connections with remote locations where limited device resources are available or network bandwidth is at a premium. The MQTT protocol provides small size, low power usage, minimized data packets, and efficient distribution of information to one or many receivers.
The STRIDE MQTT Gateway is the hardware component only of a MQTT (Message Queuing Telemetry Transport) cloud-based data logging solution. The user must have an existing cloud computing service account from a provider such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), etc.
