Barcode scanners allow a code, such as a 1- or 2-dimensional barcode, QR code, or other marking to be read and converted to usable data. This data is then sent to an intelligent device such as a PLC or PC over a network. A selection of scanners is available to read codes for specific applications.

Barcode Scanners

Barcode scanners are the most common type of industrial identification system and the equipment normally considered when needing to identify a product. Scanners use a combination of lasers and optical componentry to read a barcode on a label, embedded or etched onto a product. They convert the code to usable characters and transmit the code over a communications network.Barcode scanners come in many form factors and styles. General Duty
General duty barcode scanners with one-dimensional and two-dimensional capability are able to read many popular codes used in industry such as Code 128, Code 39 UPC and QR codes.

Machine Mount
Machine-mountable barcode scanners can read many popular industrial 1D and 2D codes such as Code 128, Code 39, QR codes, and many more. They are excellent for applications requiring machine, conveyor, or process equipment mounting.
