Hole Cutting Tools
Jobber-length drills are the most common type of drill. The length of the flutes is ten times the diameter of the drill bit, meaning they will
drill a hole that is 10D deep. Self Starting Step Drill Bits offer a unique tip design which eliminates not only skidding but also the need for
center punching.
Jobber Length Drill Bits and Step Drill Bits
All Jobber Length Drill Bits and Step Drill Bits have Split Points and come in two different materials:
- The Split Point reduces Walking which is the tendency of a spinning bit to rotate away from the point at which you want to drill
- The High Speed Steel (HSS) allows the bit to cut faster than High Carbon Steel. At room temperature HSS and high carbon steel have an equivalent hardness;
at elevated temperatures HSS becomes advantageous
- The Titanium Nitride (TiN) coating is an extremely hard ceramic. It is often used as a coating on HSS to improve hardness and durability
Drill Bit Kits
Drill bit kits are available for step drill bits and jobber length drill bits. These convenient drill bit kits include:
- Three-piece Step Drill Bit Kit High Speed Steel (HSS), bright finish, spiral fluted with split point.
Drill size 1: 6 steps from 3/16 to 1/2 with 1/16 increments. Shank size 1/4
Drill size 2: 13 steps from 1/8 to 1/2 with 1/32 increments. Shank size 1/4
Drill size 3: 9 steps from 1/4 to 3/4 with 1/16 increments. Shank size 3/8
- 21-Piece Jobber Length Drill Bit Set with fractional sizes from 1/16 to 3/8 in increments of 1/64,
in high-speed steel or Titanium coated (TiN) high-speed steel, 118 degrees point
- 29-Piece Jobber Length Drill Bit Set with fractional sizes from 1/16 to 1/2 in increments of 1/64,
in high speed steel (HSS) or Titanium coated (TiN) high-speed steel, 118 degrees point
Machine Taps
High speed steel machine taps are available in nine sizes:
- 4-40 to 3/8-16 coarse UNC and 4-48 to 3/8-24 fine UNF thread sizes
- Spiral point, chamfer type B
Knockout Punches
Electrical knockout punch hole cutting tools include punch, die and draw bolt:
- 22mm and 30mm pushbutton/pilot device mounting hole sizes
- 1/2 inch to 2 inch mounting hole sizes

Screwdrivers

Ferrule Crimping Tools

Terminal Crimping Tools
Industrial quality crimping tools will crimp insulated and uninsulated crimping terminals. They are manufactured from pressed steel with plastic insulated handles.

- Crimping force can be regulated using the adjustable eccentric cam
